Why I Created Currently Pregnant
Currently Pregnant was born from a personal experience. When my sister-in-law was expecting, I wanted to give her a gift that was genuinely useful — not just beautiful. To my surprise, I couldn’t find a thoughtfully curated gift that combined safe, practical essentials for pregnancy. I spent hours researching what was suitable, what to avoid, and what she would truly need. I created my own gift box, and she absolutely loved it.
Then, when I became pregnant myself, I found myself doing the very same thing — spending countless hours researching what was safe, what I needed in each trimester, what would help during postpartum, and later, what my baby would need at every milestone. Without many people around me who had recently been through pregnancy, I often felt overwhelmed by the endless information and choices.
That’s when I realised I couldn’t be the only one.

Having experienced pregnancy and motherhood myself, I understand what truly makes a difference at every stage. Every product in our boxes has been chosen with care, backed by research, and included because it’s something I would happily recommend to another parent.
My hope is simple: to make pregnancy and early parenthood feel a little easier, a little less overwhelming, and a lot more supported.
