The Linen Trousers

Linen is the fabric of optimistic people, and there is nothing more optimistic than being pregnant in summer. But these trousers work year-round, layered under a longline knit in January as much as with a linen shirt in July.

The waistband is a wide, fold-over elastic that sits comfortably under or over your bump — whichever you prefer at that particular hour of the day. The wide leg creates a long, fluid line. The pockets are real. Stonewashed linen in a weight that's breezy but not see-through.
